Butler Iron Bridge
Miami County, IN
The Butler iron (steel truss) bridge is on the Eel River, one mile
downstream from the Stockdale Mill at Pony Farm Road and 950N.
From the mill, go 1 mile west on SR16 to Pony Farm Road, turn left (south) and
follow the scenic riverside drive to the bridge.
The two span bridge is 270' long and was built in 1903.
Once common on the Eel River, iron bridges are quickly disappearing.
